From 7–10 December, Chonburi will become a meeting point for artists, DJs, labels and industry leaders from across Asia and the world.

The electronic music industry is getting another major meeting point — and this time, it's heading to Thailand.

Asia Music Week 2026 is set to launch in Chonburi from 7–10 December, bringing together some of the biggest parts of the electronic music ecosystem under one roof. Built around the philosophy “MEET. CONNECT. CREATE.”, the four-day gathering aims to connect Asia's rapidly developing electronic music markets with the wider global industry.

And this isn't simply another music conference.

Asia Takes Centre Stage

Electronic music has never really respected borders. A DJ can be based in Berlin, have fans in Seoul, release through a London label and play a festival in Bangkok — all within the same month.

Asia's role in that global ecosystem is becoming increasingly important.

Across the region, audiences are growing, festivals and clubs are expanding, streaming markets are evolving and a new generation of artists and music entrepreneurs are building their own spaces within the industry.

Asia Music Week wants to put that growth at the centre of the conversation.

The event will bring together artists, DJs, labels, promoters, festivals, streaming platforms, technology companies, agencies, brands and other industry professionals, creating an environment where international companies can explore opportunities in Asia while Asian artists and businesses can connect with the wider global industry.

Meet. Connect. Create.

The philosophy behind Asia Music Week is simple, but the idea is bigger than the three words suggest.

Meet the people shaping the industry.

Connect across markets, cultures and creative communities.

Create new opportunities, collaborations and ideas.

The programme is expected to feature industry talks, panel discussions, networking sessions, artist and brand activations, showcases and meetings, alongside social experiences designed to encourage conversations outside the traditional conference setting.

Topics will cover some of the biggest questions facing electronic music today — from streaming and artist development to festivals, technology, branding, emerging markets and the changing economics of the music business.

Because let's be honest: some of the best industry conversations don't happen while sitting in a panel.

Sometimes they happen afterwards.

Why Asia, Why Now?

Asia isn't one giant music market. That's exactly what makes it interesting.

Thailand, Japan, South Korea, China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore and other territories all have their own musical cultures, audiences, platforms and business environments.

For international companies, understanding those differences can be just as important as understanding the opportunities.

For Asian artists and professionals, meanwhile, having direct access to international labels, promoters, agencies, platforms and brands could open doors to collaborations and global audiences.

Asia Music Week is positioning itself as the space where those conversations can happen face-to-face.

Taking the Conference to the Coast

The location is part of the concept too.

Rather than placing the event inside another conventional metropolitan conference venue, Asia Music Week is bringing the international electronic music community to Chonburi, combining business with Thailand's coastal setting and lifestyle.

The idea is to create an environment where meetings, showcases, hospitality and networking can exist alongside the destination itself.

It's a different approach to the traditional industry conference — one that recognises that electronic music isn't only a business.

It's a culture.

It's nightlife.

It's travel.

It's community.

And increasingly, it's a global network that doesn't fit neatly inside one city or continent.

A New Chapter for Asia's Electronic Music Scene

As electronic music continues to expand globally, the industry's biggest conversations are no longer happening in only the traditional centres of dance music.

Asia has its own artists, festivals, clubs, audiences and ideas — and Asia Music Week wants to give those voices a bigger platform.

From emerging artists looking for international connections to global companies searching for new markets, the event is designed around one central idea: bringing different parts of the electronic music world closer together.

Four days.

One destination.

A whole region ready to connect with the world.

Asia Music Week 2026 takes place in Chonburi, Thailand, from 7–10 December.

And if the future of electronic music is becoming increasingly global, Thailand might just be one of the places where that future gets built.
