The boys next door are getting ready to step outside their comfort zone with a deluxe repackage packed with new music, ambition and a little help from ZICO.

BOYNEXTDOOR are opening the door again.

Just months after releasing their first studio album HOME, the six-member group are preparing to return with HOME: DELUXE — a repackage that promises to take the story one step further.

Arriving on September 28, the album expands HOME into a 14-track release, adding five new tracks to the original album. And if the newly revealed title track is anything to go by, BOYNEXTDOOR aren't planning on playing it safe.

Say Hello to “ANIMAL”

The new era officially has a name: “ANIMAL.”

Serving as the title track for HOME: DELUXE, “ANIMAL” is built around BOYNEXTDOOR's determination to keep pushing forward and become better versions of themselves.

The track also comes with some serious creative power behind it.

ZICO, KOZ Entertainment's executive producer and artist, participated in its production alongside Pop Time and kako, while members Myung Jaehyun, Taesan and Woonhak contributed to the songwriting and composition.

Basically, the members aren't just showing up to sing the songs.

They're helping build them.

Five New Tracks, One Bigger Story

HOME: DELUXE adds five new songs to the original HOME tracklist, giving fans another side of the album's story to explore. The new material includes “ANIMAL” and “CLICHE,” alongside three additional tracks.

Even more exciting? Three members are credited across four of those five new songs.

For a group that has consistently been involved in shaping its own music, that level of participation feels very BOYNEXTDOOR.

Their music has always leaned into the emotions and experiences of being young — relationships, growing up, confusion, confidence and everything in between.

Now, HOME: DELUXE looks ready to push those ideas beyond the familiar.

From HOME to Somewhere Bigger

When HOME arrived in June, it marked a major milestone for BOYNEXTDOOR: their first full-length studio album.

The project continued the group's rise, debuting at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 and becoming their sixth consecutive entry on the chart. It also followed a run of million-selling releases.

But HOME: DELUXE isn't simply about looking back at what they've already accomplished.

It's about what comes next.

The concept behind the repackage expands the idea of HOME itself — taking the familiar emotions and experiences that have shaped BOYNEXTDOOR

and turning them towards a much wider world.

And the timing couldn't be better.

A New Album for a New Chapter

The release comes just as BOYNEXTDOOR prepare to take their music even further around the world.

The group are currently embarking on their KNOCK ON Vol. 2 world tour, with their first North American dates beginning in October. The tour will take them to cities including Dallas, Chicago, New York, Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

So while HOME: DELUXE is expanding an existing album, it also feels like the soundtrack to a much bigger moment in the group's career.

They're no longer simply the “boys next door.”

They're becoming a group with a global audience waiting to see where they go next.

The Members Are Taking the Lead

One of the most exciting parts of this comeback is just how involved the members are.

Jaehyun, Taesan and Woonhak have writing and composition credits across four of the five new songs, showing just how much BOYNEXTDOOR's own voices continue to shape their music.

And that creative involvement matters.

BOYNEXTDOOR have built much of their identity around music that feels personal and relatable rather than overly polished or distant. Their songs often feel like snapshots of real experiences — messy feelings, awkward moments, excitement and everything that comes with growing up.

HOME: DELUXE looks ready to keep that honesty while giving the group room to experiment.

So, What Can ONEDOOR Expect?

If the rollout so far is anything to go by, we're getting a comeback with attitude, ambition and plenty of BOYNEXTDOOR personality.

“ANIMAL” already promises a more determined side of the group, while the expanded tracklist gives fans five more reasons to dive back into the world of HOME.

And with the members playing such a big role behind the scenes, there's plenty to look forward to beyond the title track.

The Off The Mic Take

BOYNEXTDOOR started with a simple idea: what if your favourite idols felt like the boys next door?

Now they're taking that idea somewhere much bigger.

HOME: DELUXE feels like the moment BOYNEXTDOOR are opening the front door, stepping outside and looking at everything waiting beyond it.

They've got new music.

They've got a growing global audience.

And they've got a world tour waiting for them.

September 28 can't come soon enough.

Because BOYNEXTDOOR may have started at HOME — but they're clearly not planning to stay there.
