South Africa’s biggest Amapiano stars are coming together for one massive night of music, culture and celebration.
If you love Amapiano, this is one event you probably don't want to miss.
On 19 September 2026, the Scorpion Kings — DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small — will take over FNB Stadium in Johannesburg for Scorpion Kings Live: A Family Affair.
The event is set to celebrate Amapiano and the artists who have helped take the South African sound from local townships to audiences around the world. With thousands of fans expected to fill the stadium, the concert is shaping up to be one of the biggest music events on the South African calendar this year.
A lineup packed with South African talent
And if the Scorpion Kings themselves weren't enough of a reason to attend, the lineup is stacked.
Fans can expect performances from Ami Faku, Amaroto, Aymos, Blxckie, Bontle Smith, Busiswa, Daliwonga, Focalistic, Kamo Mphela, Lady Du, MaWhoo, Mr JazziQ, Msaki, Nasty C, Nkosazana Daughter, Njelic, Nia Pearl, Pcee, Ringo Madlingozi, Scotts Maphuma, Semi Tee, Toss, Tman Xpress, Young Stunna, Xduppy and many more.
The full lineup features more than 50 artists, bringing together Amapiano, Afro-soul, hip-hop, house and other sounds from across South Africa.
More than just a concert
Scorpion Kings Live is designed to be an all-day experience. The venue opens at 12:00, with the pre-show beginning at 14:00, before the main show runs from 18:00 until 23:30.
That means fans won't simply be arriving for one headline performance. There will be hours of music, performances and entertainment before DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small take centre stage.
For anyone who has ever wanted to experience Amapiano on a massive scale, this could be the perfect opportunity. There's something special about hearing some of the biggest songs in the genre surrounded by thousands of other fans who know every beat, lyric and dance move.
Why should you go?
Whether you're a longtime Amapiano fan or simply looking for a memorable night out, Scorpion Kings Live has plenty to offer.
The combination of a huge stadium, an impressive lineup and two of the biggest names in Amapiano makes this more than your average concert. It's also a celebration of how far South African music has come and the artists who continue to push it onto the global stage.
