Six years after Mad World, Timmy Trumpet is trading some of the festival chaos for something much more personal — and ‘Chase The Feeling’ is our first taste.

Timmy Trumpet is known for making crowds go absolutely wild. From his signature live trumpet performances to huge festival anthems, the Australian DJ and producer has built a career around big drops, bigger energy and moments designed for thousands of people to experience together.

But his next chapter is taking things somewhere much more personal.

Timmy Trumpet has officially announced his second studio album, REVELATIONS, a 15-track vocal project arriving October 23 via Spinnin’ Records.

The album follows his 2020 debut Mad World, marking his first full-length release in six years.

And if the title track teaser, ‘Chase The Feeling’, is anything to go by, this isn't simply another collection of festival weapons.

It's a story.

From an Accidental Reveal to a Full Album

Interestingly, REVELATIONS wasn't supposed to be announced when it was.

During an interview with Tomorrowland's One World Radio in July, Timmy accidentally let the album slip during an unplanned moment on air. What started as an unexpected reveal eventually became the beginning of the official rollout.

Now the entire project is out in the open — and there's considerably more behind it than fans might have expected.

According to the release announcement, REVELATIONS was written during one of the hardest periods of Timmy's life, following the end of a long-term relationship.

Instead of immediately returning to the festival-focused sound that has defined much of his career, he turned towards songwriting as a way of processing what he was experiencing.

Enter ‘Chase The Feeling’

The latest preview of the album comes in the form of ‘Chase The Feeling’, a collaboration with German hitmaker Alle Farben featuring Brighton singer, songwriter and producer ALEXX.

And sonically, it's a much brighter side of the story.

Built around a warm house groove, a big melodic chorus and Timmy's unmistakable trumpet, the track feels made for those golden festival moments — somewhere between sunset, sunrise and the final hours of summer.

ALEXX provides the vocals, while Timmy brings the live instrumental element that has become such a recognisable part of his sound.

There's a sense of moving forward in the track. Where earlier releases from the album have explored vulnerability, ‘Chase The Feeling’ feels like the moment where the lights start coming back on.

A Different Side of Timmy Trumpet

The album's emotional journey first began taking shape with ‘Not A Place’ featuring OAKS, which opens REVELATIONS. Other previously released tracks include ‘Wanna Be Loved’ with Moa Lisa, ‘Roses’ with bradeazy and Richard Judge, and ‘All My Life’ with Frank Walker and John Martin.

The complete album features a long list of collaborators, including Olivia Sebastianelli, Jethro, CERES, Martin Jasper, Bow Anderson and Thomas Edwards, with Moa Lisa appearing twice.

But despite the number of voices involved, the album ultimately tells one central story: what happens when you allow yourself to feel everything.

REVELATIONS Tracklist

And that final title is perhaps the biggest clue of all.

‘One Broken Heart’ closes the album, bringing the project full circle after a journey through heartbreak, uncertainty, reflection and the search for something worth chasing again.

From Festival Chaos to Something Real

Timmy Trumpet has spent years creating music designed to make people jump.

REVELATIONS seems interested in making people feel.

That's what makes this era so intriguing. The trumpet is still there. The massive melodies are still there. The festival energy hasn't disappeared.

But underneath all of it is something much more human.

REVELATIONS arrives October 23, and if ‘Chase The Feeling’ is any indication, Timmy Trumpet isn't just giving fans another album.

He's giving them a look behind the noise.
