Pho3nix is a South African DJ whose sound is deeply rooted in deep house, Afro House, Afrotech, and soulful electronic music.
Her musical journey is driven by emotion, energy, and discovery—crafting sets that seamlessly transition from memory lane straight to the dance floor, while always leaving room for the music to tell its own story. For Pho3nix, DJing is far more than simply playing tracks; it is about creating a feeling, connecting people through sound, and giving each moment space to breathe. Her selections move effortlessly between soulful melodies, deep grooves, Afro-infused rhythms, and energetic club sounds.
Stepping into DJing as a leap into the unknown, she discovered a part of herself she never knew existed. Today, she continues to explore her sound, her creativity, and the absolute freedom that comes with finding her own voice. As the host of the Pho3nix Frequency Radio Show on Studio Prime, she shares that passion directly with listeners every time she takes to the airwaves.
True to her name, Pho3nix represents transformation, resilience, and rising from the fire into freedom.
