About Studio Prime
The Sound of Tomorrow.
Broadcasting Worldwide.
Studio Prime is a South African-born 24/7 online radio station created for people who live and breathe electronic music.
From House and Deep House to Techno, Trance, Progressive, Afro House, Hard Dance and everything in between, Studio Prime brings together a carefully curated world of music, DJs, producers, radio shows and exclusive mixes — connecting South Africa with the global electronic music community.
Our philosophy is simple: great music has no borders.
Studio Prime showcases established international artists alongside emerging DJs, producers and new talent, giving listeners access to a diverse range of sounds, styles and cultures from across the electronic music spectrum.
More Than Just Radio
Studio Prime is built as a digital music platform where radio, artists, shows, events and the electronic music community come together.
Our programming features a growing collection of specialist radio shows and DJ mixes, each bringing its own sound, personality and musical identity. From underground sessions and deep electronic journeys to high-energy dancefloor sounds, our schedule is designed to give listeners something different throughout the day and night.
We also feature music news, artist stories, exclusive content, events and opportunities for DJs and producers to connect with a wider audience.
A Platform for Artists
At the heart of Studio Prime is the music community.
We believe emerging artists deserve a platform alongside established names. Studio Prime provides opportunities for DJs, producers and radio hosts to share their music, develop their audience and become part of an international electronic music network.
Whether you're an established artist, an underground producer, a radio presenter or someone discovering electronic music for the first time, there is a place for you at Studio Prime.
South Africa to the World
Born in South Africa and connected to a global electronic music audience, Studio Prime represents the energy, creativity and diversity of the country's music culture while embracing sounds from around the world.
Our programming reflects the international nature of electronic music — bringing together artists, shows and listeners from different countries, cultures and musical backgrounds.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build Studio Prime into a world-class digital broadcasting and music platform, creating new opportunities for artists and delivering an exceptional listening experience to audiences everywhere.
We are continuing to develop Studio Prime beyond traditional online radio, with ambitions to expand our live broadcasting, video, events, artist development and digital experiences.
